The Block @ Maccabi FC

One early morning in June this year The Block ran an event together with MFCC and the Commonwealth Bank.

As part of their episode, there was a penalty shoot-out between contestants and The Block crew watched on by Matildas, Elise Kellond-Knight and Chloe Logarzo.

Dozens of Maccabi fans were in attendance to watch and cheer on the goal scorers. Once the event took place Scott Cam from The Block announced the prizes for the contestants as well as a surprise gift to Maccabi FC of $5,000 for being the host community club.

It goes towards the support that the Commonwealth Bank give to grassroots sports in Australian communities.

Maccabi FC would like to thank the Commonwealth Bank, Channel 9, The Block crew, Josephine La Pila (FV/FA), Maccabi Victoria, Michelle Dubrowin, Andrew Yarrow, Martin Jona and our many fans in attendance for making this an event that will never be forgotten at the club.
