AGE and GENDER
​
Football Victoria requires all players to play in their correct age group which may not correspond with your school year. Age is determined as at 1st January of the current season. Players may be permitted to play up an age group, but are not permitted to play down an age group.
​
In U8 - U11 groups, sometimes boys and girls are in mixed teams, and compete in a boys league.
Boys are not permitted to play in a girls competition, however girls may play in the boys competition after being assessed by a club coach/selector.

Please ensure that you select the correct age group when registering.

All Maccabi Strikers Programs

The Strikers programs train and play on Sundays between 9:00-11:00. (Unless otherwise advised.) There is no midweek training or trials/selection process. Sessions will be run according to school terms and dates, all year round.
Dress- appropriate sports wear, boots and shin-guards (available from our recommended sports store, Sportsmart). Mouth guard optional.
Bring a full water bottle.
Cost is $225 - 250 per school term, depending on how many week are in a term and includes a MLS uniform once during the year.

AGE GROUP Mini Roos U8, U9, U10, U11
​
The U8/9 and U10/11 groups play matches on Sundays in a home and away format and have midweek training. Players participate in a team selection process and are graded into Kangaroo, Wallaby and Joeys teams.
​
U8 - U11 teams play in the Mini Roos format in a graded competition but not for points.
Dress- club attire only, boots and shin-guards (available from our recommended sports store, Sportsmart) for match day. Club home and away shirts, boots and shin guards for training. Mouth guard optional.

Cost is $705 for regular Mini Roos teams. Not including uniforms.

U12- U18+ TEAMS
The Under 12-18 groups play matches on Sundays in a home and away format and have midweek training.
U12 - U18 teams train twice per week ($705). Not including uniforms.

Players participate in a team selection process. Dress- club attire only, boots and shin-guards (available from our recommended sports store, Sportsmart) for match day. Club home and away shirts, boots and shin guards for training. Mouth guard optional.
