Maccabi FC Caulfield buzzed with fierce energy on Sunday, August 23, as the senior women’s teams faced off in the second edition of the iconic All-Female Derby Day. The Queen Bees and the Wild Bees locked horns in what is rapidly becoming one of the most thrilling fixtures on the club’s calendar.
While both sides entered Football Victoria’s competition together this season, their journeys couldn't be more distinct. The Queen Bees spent a year on hiatus before launching a triumphant rebuild, whereas the Wild Bees transitioned into regular league play after four fantastic years in the Soccer Mums competition. That mix of history and ambition created a fiery, electric atmosphere on the pitch—fierce competitive drive on the field, underpinned by incredible club camaraderie off it.
