The Maccabi FC Caulfield Stingers Initiative, A New Era of Excellence
We are thrilled to announce the Stingers program, a new era of excellence in youth football, designed for players who are ready to rise to the challenge.
The Stingers program is founded on a simple, powerful principle: exceptional talent matched by unwavering commitment. This is a call to players and families who understand that true greatness is built through dedication, hard work, and the relentless pursuit of improvement. If you're ready to put in the effort required to reach your full potential, this is your opportunity.

Nurturing Talent
Nurturing Talent, Igniting Passion
At MFCC, we are committed to providing the ultimate environment for our young athletes to flourish. This is a program for both girls and boys, a place where ambition knows no gender.
We will focus on building the Stingers' identity from an early age, starting with the U10 - U13 age group in season 2026 and gradually going up one age group per season in the coming years. This is a long-term vision, not a short-term fix.
We will create an environment where a player's determination and potential are what matter most. If a younger child demonstrates the "Stinger" spirit, they may be selected for an older age group if their own is not available, showing that talent and grit will always be rewarded.
A Commitment to the Highest Standards
Our dedication to excellence extends beyond the field. We will strive to secure the very best coaching talent available, with a minimum standard of current or in-training C License coaches. This program is as much about developing inspiring leaders as it is about shaping outstanding players. To ensure a focused, elite experience, we will never have more than one Stingers team in any given age group.
This elite level of training and support comes with a commitment from all involved. Players accepting an invitation into the Stingers program should anticipate a registration fee of $1,250.00 for season 2026. This investment secures a path to true excellence.

What You Can Expect
- 5 - 6 Trainings a fortnight (increased from the normal 4)
- More experienced coaches (Minimum holding of C licence, or in the process of)
- Video analysis of games
- Curated technical and tactical sessions, that follow a separate curriculum
- Player assessments, with regular check-ins to help meet each players goals
The Journey Begins Now
The future of Maccabi FC Caulfield is here, and it’s ready to buzz. We invite talented and dedicated players and their families to join us in building this incredible legacy.
Trials for the Stingers team will begin on 5 November.

Once expressions of interest (EOIs) have been sorted, we will notify you about the trials and/or training sessions. These will take place on four consecutive Wednesdays in November: the 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th, from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM at Princes Park, Caulfield South.

The Stingers program in 2026 is focused on developing players who will be turning 9 to 13 years old during that year.
We appreciate your interest, but please note our current age restrictions:
Underage Consideration: Children turning 8 or younger may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact Sam via email to inquire about an exception.
Maximum Age: We will not be forming teams for Under 14s (U14) or older in 2026, so children turning 14 or older are outside of this year's program scope.

The question is no longer "what's next?" but "are you ready to be a Stinger?"
