The Maccabi FC women’s team/squad has been around for over 12 years, in fact, it follows a long history of female football in the club going back long before it became fashionable.

We pride ourselves on the commitment that we have put into football across all ages and genders for the 45 years that the club has been in existence. Now we enter another exciting chapter in women’s football.

For the first time in a few years the club has the opportunity to run two women’s teams, headed by our dedicated coach Dimi.

The success of the “Queen Bees” in 2023 meant that more players have been attracted to the club which allows us to dream of a second team, but we are not quite there yet.

Our idea is to run our State League 2 team and enter a State League 5 or 4 team to make up that second team. The second team can experiment with players, styles etc with an aim of getting ready for a more serious 2025. In other words, the SL5 team can get more fun out of their football rather than worry about promotion/relegation etc.

Enjoy playing with a great bunch of women, a new coach and a supportive club. Learn to love your football, as the results will come later.
