Where Generations Meet on the Pitch
From the Caulfield Park Gazette:
Where Generations Meet on the Pitch
On Thursday 2 Oct 2026, history was made on the green. We officially kicked off our very first Walking Football Holiday Program—a joyful gathering where age proved to be nothing more than a number on a jersey. From energetic under-12s to seasoned over-70s, and every dynamic age in between, the pitch was alive with laughter, strategy, and pure team spirit.
The Golden Moment
The highlight of the match belonged to a true masterclass in teamwork. Veteran player Paul netted a spectacular Golden Goal, perfectly set up by a brilliantly executed pass straight from our defending goalkeeper, Kevin. It was a game-winning play that had everyone on their feet (and walking briskly with excitement)!
Special Thanks
A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to young Clara, Stirling, and Eli! Your enthusiasm, quick footwork, and bright energy brought so much joy to the field today.
Today reminded us that football isn't just about the scoreline—it's about community, connection, and sharing the pitch across generations.
Here’s to many more matches to come!
