Maccabi FC Caulfield is excited to announce Nathan Maiorana and Mikki Schneider as our new coaching staff for the U17 Colts in season 2023. Nathan is well known to the club and re-joins Maccabi FC Caulfield as part of his ongoing wealth of experience. Nathan was instrumental in the establishment of the Colts program having coached the U13,U14,U15 and U16 Colts teams as well as being head coach of the Maccabi Pan American Youth Team in 2019. Over the last few years Nathan has expanded his coaching experience into some of Victoria’s womens football programs and will continue these roles alongside his Colts Coaching duties. We are grateful for Nathan’s experience and his ability to work with youth teams and welcome him back to the club.
Nathan will be joined this year by Mikki Schneider. Mikki is a current player with our Senior Men’s Squad. He is a 2 x winner of the Golden Boot and a member of the clubs players committee. Mikki attended the 2013 Maccabiah Games as part of the U18 youth team and has worked with Football Technique School as coach.
Mikki starts a new era between the junior and senior football clubs by creating a positive link between the clubs and an opportunity for our Colts boys to see the progression they have available to them on their football journey.
Together Nathan and Mikki will bring a fresh new look to our Colts Program and with their dedication and our player commitment, we see a very successfully year ahead.
To complete our coaching squad Martin Jona has accepted the role as Team Manager and together this group of dedicated professionals will truly make this year’s football a wonderful experience for the players.
Pre-season 2023
We look forward to welcoming the boys to pre-season commencing Wednesday 1 February 2023 and continuing thereafter on a Monday and Wednesday nights until further notice. Likely times will be 7.00pm-8.30pm but confirmed closer to the date.
