And not such a night for the Socceroos

Despite the great support around the country and here at the Caulfield Park bowls club from Maccabi FC members, the Socceroos could not pull off that badly needed win against Japan on Thursday 24 March.

Maccabi members gathered at the bowls club to cheer on the ‘Roos, which wasn’t to be with Australia going down 2 – nil to the Blue Samurai, but they still enjoyed a night together with pizzas supplied by the club.

It was great to see young and old, or maybe no so old, exchange their favourite football stories over a few slices. Thanks to all of you that turned up on the night. Hopefully we can gather again soon and see the Socceroos triumph.
