Maccabi FC Played in Purple on Sundays 20 – 28 July

Thank you to all of the Maccabi FC teams that went out of their way to purchase purple football socks to be able to "Play in Purple" on the Sundays 20 - 28 July.

The #PlayinPurple campaign raises funds and awareness for pancreatic cancer through the sport that we love.

Many of us know of someone that has been affected by pancreatic cancer and passed away. It is a horrible cancer that is very aggressive and more often than not picked up until at a very late stage of the disease when it is too late to have any effective cure. To that end Maccabi FC elected to support this worthy cause in season 2024 in order for the researchers at PanKind to find ways to combat this terrible illness.

All the purple socks purchased went to raise funds and show support for this cause.

Thank you to all of those involved this season, we are fully appreciative of the researchers at PanKind and are proud to be supporting them in their quest to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
