Trials/PreSeason for season 2023
Due to insurance protocols, children/players not registered with the club prior to their nominated trials/training will NOT be permitted on the field.
They will be sent home.
Notes re Trials for season 2023
Any child signed up for Gary Peer Little Strikers does NOT go through a trial process. There are only assessments to determine which group they should be playing in. For any questions contact coach Michael.
Trials/gradings start as per the table below.
What to wear: shirt, shorts and shin-guards are a must. It is recommended to wear football/soccer boots, otherwise runners are fine. Bring along a water bottle that is clearly named for the child. Please make sure the player puts on sunblock before the session if it is a sunny day.
Trials/gradings will last for about 4 – 6 weeks to give each child a fair assessment. In some cases, a team may already be determined quickly in a certain age group therefore the sessions will become training for that team.
Children will be put into their correct age group for trials to start with and then over the course of the 4 – 6 weeks may be moved around depending on their skill levels.
Parents are asked to stay for at least the first 15 min of their allocated trial time for explanations from any club staff about the procedures of the session and/or to make sure that children are settled within their group.
Parents are asked to stand back from the sessions in the marked out areas.
These sessions, as listed below, continue until Glen Eira council give us full use of Caulfield Park which should be in April in time for the kick off of the season.
When we move to full season training then you will be notified via club newsletter.

Players involved in trials are reminded to be at the ground at least 15 minutes before the trial sessions start to be ready to go as soon as the coaches are.

You/the player must be registered with the club at https://www.mfcc.com.au/registration-fees before partaking in any club events/activities.
Gary Peer Little Strikers follow directions from Coach Michael.
